A year ago today I woke up, made sure I had everything I needed for the next stage of my life. We packed the car and drove down to the airport. Everything in my body shook with anxiety and I couldn’t believe that I was finally making my dream come true. After the most emotional hug I ever gave my mom, I walked through security and started on the biggest journey of my life.
A year ago I took a plane and made it to the land of my dreams, Italy.
A year later I am missing this place that stole my heart, but glad to be where I am now. I can say in the past year I lost and found myself, and couldn’t be happier because I finally found myself and it led me to someone to balance me out.
Italy, we had our ups and downs but you changed me and I love you. Wait for me
